A 'shakeout' would be coupled with a strong rise in accumulation. Dumping into those bid sitting at 28 does not move the needle in the direction you need it to go.

This ended in a very poor technical position. Ask hitting, a green day, and a close near the day's high is what was needed yesterday. And what SHOULD have been if the news coming was as good as some hoped.

No signs of good news coming here.
