I do not like the majority of SCOTUS decisions of late (of the visible ones - the rest being mostly 9-0 or 8-1) --- but that does not make the judges who rule a different way unpatriotic and lacking courage

Again - what if Scotus reverses?

Donotunderstand,

Historically Judges or Judiciary are not known for patriotism or for supporting democracy or protecting constitutional rights of common people.

Worldwide Judges or Judiciary are well kownn for supporting dictatorship and undemocratic acts of establishment or those in power.

Most legal scholars, few lawmakers, Mel Watt and current FHFA Director Calabria have stated that, FHFA under Bush/Hank and Obama administration violated HERA and other laws. The pro-establishment judges supported these glaring violations with twisted and contorted interpretations of HERA.

Whether a Judge is a Brave Patriot or a Opportunist depends on how they defend people's rights against powerful establishment. The founders were very suspicious of unchecked powers of Gov and that is why they added so many protections against misuse of power. If the two political branches of Gov connive to abridge rights of common people, people's only hope is independent judiciary.

But in case of FnF, Judiciary mostly has failed in its duty to protect the rights of common people. That is why we need to distinguish these judges.
