Well Bob, Imagine the Carousel at Road America with 10" of snow on it! Of course it wouldn't be that much fun unless it has a 2" ice base underneath.

Did I tell you I walked the track (yep, all 4 miles of it) in late October. American Cancer Society has a Run/Walk of the track as a fund raiser. This was their 28th year and I believe they had more than 10,000 participants. Sort of like my racing, I was passed by some and I passed some others!

You get a real feel for the elevation changes when you're hoofing it! It's nearly all "uphill" from Canada Corner to the Start/Finish line! Nobody was Black Flagged, luckily! But with that many participants, there was a bit of fender rubbing!!!
