Notice of Status Conference (11/15/2019)

The Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors filed a Motion on 10/29/19 seeking a status conference.

The Committee fully supports the efforts of the Trustee to maximize estate value and specifically the Trustee’s prosecution of the estates’ claims against the Counterparty Defendants in the Adversary Proceeding. Indeed, the Committee co-signed the complaint commencing that action and requested approval to intervene as a plaintiff.

Because the estate claims in that proceeding are the cornerstone of future recoveries in the Chapter 11 Cases, the timeline for their conclusion depends on that of the Adversary Proceeding. Thus, the Creditors’ Committee requests a status conference to gain clarity on when that might occur.
