Two, this huge scam would have to produce enough money to make it worth the risk for all these big guys. What does it take to tempt people who are already millionaires to take a risk like this would be if it were a fraud. Especially considering, that since this would be the biggest fraud in history, it would definitely be prosecuted. All the evidence is right out there in the open and all the "conspirators" live in the US. They would not only have to get the big bucks from this "fraud," but they would also have to somehow escape into the night to ... someplace that didn't have an extradition treaty with the US. So you have to assume that Brad, Merle, and the others, who are already millionaires, want to take their ill gotten gains and escape to Russia? Not likely.
And how much ill-gotten loot will there be? Well the market cap at this point is about 250 million. Split that up with all the imagined n'er'do'wells and what do you have?
It doesn't make a lot of sense.
