Hey! USD is tanking vs. the other currencies.
As a matter of fact, even the Euro is down vs. the ZAR (SA Rand).
IMHO, a chart of gold vs. Dollar index is am inconsistency: compare the price of gold in USD to USD ?!?
1- Gold is (at least US traders think that) priced in USD.
2- the Dollar index is one of the last surviving dinosaurians. ( Dollar index is 57% made of Euros) http://lvlamb.itgo.com/charts/oth2003/usd%20weights.html
