Anything before 2019 was MarMar lying through their teeth about what was going on. They could move dirt, but that ended up being about all. They didn't pay their people and didn't invest the funds they said they would to reach production.
Your last two quotes were honest efforts on Paul Thompson's part to produce ounces with the small M/C. Would you rather they produced with that or the current large M/C? Economies of scale, the new Lucky Strike area with close to surface ore requiring no blasting. I believe we are on to something. The crew is motivated by owning shares, the chemistry issues seem to have been solved.
The other option was bankruptcy or selling to a neighbor for pennies.
