Yes, Bolivia may also have had an effect, but probably less because lithium in Bolivia is less desirable due to its poorer chemistry and local conditions, even though the resource is huge. I took another look at schedules and I now think both LAC and Orocobre may complete their plants at around the same time (both in 2021 barring delays). Orocobre has less pressure because it is already producing and it is ahead in ponds but I am not sure about the new plant.
Last year’s Q4 report was released in mid January, so I expect the same for the Q4 report for 2019. I would not expect anything outstanding due to the lower lithium prices. The Naraha plant is Japan also expected in 2021 is the bigger deal as well as the expansion of it coincides with a rebound in lithium prices. I plan to start accumulating more soon.
