Maintaining the status quo in your estimation is bullish when an outcome is better than expected (ie no regression to the mean). And vice Versa. But in this case any outcome other than maintaining the status quo would be very rare (ie regression to the mean is highly unexpected in these data) so I maintain holding serve here is neutral. By analogy if an HCV tx gave really good SVR 12 rates. Would maintaining that high SVR (“holding serve”) at 24 weeks be bullish? No
