CVSI has published some small studies in healthy volunteers - that's a start, and they have a system of collecting adverse events at the company. Also, they were the only company to present safety data at the FDA/Congressional hearing.
Liver toxicity in high doses in animals is trumped by high dose use in humans. That is a basic concept in medical research. Human experience trumps animal experience nearly every time.
So I get annoyed when "experts" question the safety of CBD. Same story with supplements. "It hasn't been studied in phase 3 studies." Well if that is that standard, then supplements will be unaffordable.
