I have known JC since freshman year of college
- I helped him with his MN state house of representative run where he narrowly beat a DFL incumbent at the age of 21. This 30 yr career politician took a lot of time to slander a wise beyond his years college student
- I worked for him at Fastenal when he ran our nationwide industrial light division at 23
- I watched him get transferred to EMEA to be the President of Fastenal EMEA at 25
- I know he was sent to Harvard business school by the CEO of Fastenal, but he did not finish because of the international transfer
- I watched him pivot from corporate America to startups: LLC incorporation service (which he sold), custom wine labels, create a limo franchise (which he provided free for my bachelor party)
- he is a good man with good values, but he is always thinking about how to be his best in this life. He has been laser focused on being a billionaire since 19 (probably earlier)
- I backed into his Lexus at 22 and he did not get angry with me
- I learned my best lessons about sales from a 23 year old, and I currently sell to Fortune 10 companies
- I am a stockholder, but less than 1000 shares. It is all I can do right now.
