Yet another insider buying

The insider is a former ATI director, now an AMD director. Before the aqcuisition, he owned 25,000 shares of ATI and 0 shares of AMD. Now, he owns 25,000 of AMD and 0 shares of ATI.

I can think of more bullish purchases, but then again, I am biased. I do'nt know about the other insiders you said made purchases in November, but I suspect something similar.

More significantly, this time last year(10/27/2005), Hector excersized a fraction of his options in building up a position in AMD. This year(11/16/2006), Hector has liquidated his entire option position.
