Some of us are techy people in IT... some are not. For those that do not live in the world of server farms what you need to know is as follows...

Large enterprise customers do not like risk. Knowing their product may not be supported or discontinued by impending legal issues is really bad for them. They like reliability, support and want their server farms to never go down.

Large enterprise customers spend a lot of money on data centres. Upgrading any facet of a data Center takes a lot of planning, money and effort. Not only for actually doing the work but also for compatibility, proof of concept and regression testing (checking to see if anything breaks) before going live.

Lastly, the sales cycles for these things are big. It takes time. Months to years sometimes. So there are SK Hynix deals on the table with customers where the smart customers are asking about the Initial determination if for no other reason than negotiating power on price.

Lastly it takes time to manufacture and or adjust product lines for customers that make orders.

This is a huge end to end process that is ideally not disrupted in any way other wise it affects the bottom line and loss of customers.

So yes... the initial determination and hopefully soon the final determination in February 2020 is a big, big deal.

Hope this helps.
