Over 55 years ago I heard this phrase in high school at least once a day from our Moral Theology teacher; A Catholic priest at a Catholic school. Yes, we took Latin . . . every single day for 12 years!!! And I'm sure glad of it. A great foundation for people who like to write and communicate.

For those who don't know, it means "so so" or "neither good or bad", or "Neither hear nor there".
