Credit to CBD on Yahoo who has been watching the Level 2 quotes closely and has noticed a pattern of big block share buys over the last month or so: "50k shares bought at the ask. Stock doesn't move. Market Markers then fill order for 294 shares and bring it down. For every one to see what's coming here. I thought it was an outside accumulator the last few weeks. Starting to think its just MM corraling shares for itself for the spike on ER. Hence the disguised selling price".
