Salty Dog Lawsuit, looks like they should have stuck with the drug, instead they bailed and now it's standing in the fast track lane:

Specifically, the investigation seeks to determine whether certain statements regarding the results of a clinical drug study of imetelstat called IMbark were false and misleading when made. Imetelstat was intended to treat certain cancers that occur in bone marrow and the IMbark study was designed to ascertain whether imetelstat helped patients with a cancer called myelofibrosis.

Imetelstat Granted Fast Track Designation by the FDA

Based on the data from IMbark, investigators consider imetelstat to be a promising agent for patients with MF who were previously treated with JAK inhibitors. Geron announced its plans to hold an End of Phase 2 meeting with the FDA by the end of first quarter 2020.
