Mineracao Duas Barras Ltda owns the Duas Barras Mine.
Previously they had dealings with Vaaldium Resources to operate the mine.
Vaaldium completed an NI 43-101 with about 200 drill holes completed on the property

They built a $2.5 mil processing facility to process the diamonds from the mine site. They made upwards to and a little over $8 mil a year operating the mine once they increased their production after the initial startup of operations.
But Vaaldium closed the mine and backed out when the market crashed and the diamond prices fell it 2010/2011.

BMIX acquired 100% of Mineracao Duas Barras Ltda over a short period of time in several transactions after that.BMIX renamed the Duas Burras Mine the Pindaiba Gold & Diamond Project

They did some test mining with a third party company using a modular plant with Gold Centrifuges.

It was discovered that the $2.5 mil facility was set up more for diamond recovery than gold recovery from the white alluvial gravels located at the bottom of the deposit near the bedrock layer. The modular plant is designed for gold recovery within the alluvial sands that are on top of the white alluvial gravel layer.
BMIX with testing found the $2.5 mil facility only recovers around 40% of the gold while the modular plant recovers around 90% of the gold from the alluvial sands.
