Cabos, I agree with you that cannabis companies got into the game knowing because it was the WEED industry, that they would be able to constantly return to the equity markets for more funding.

WEED mania has only been tempered in the past 6 months while reality revalues the cannabis stocks PPS's.

That's why it's critically important to invest only in the equities that are either profitable or VERY close to posting profits.

Trulieve is a sector winner.

They can blow it by entering additional states where they hold no competitive advantage, and are economically inefficient because they have to recreate the seed-to-sale infrastructure all over again.

So instead of moving into 3 more states, I think they should do it one at a time. Maximize their efficiencies and footprint, and then move on to the next state. Do it as they did in Florida.

I own Trulieve and Green Thumb.

It's also why I like the extractors. They are going to be GAAP Black and EBITDA profitable sooner than most cannabis companies, have higher margins, lower operating costs, lower expansion costs, lower O/S's, and provide essential services and products to every edibles and beverage brand that doesn't own and operate their own extraction division.
