Thanks, but no thanks. Pay to contribute my analysis which, I might add, is professional in quality, often prescient and occasionally demands payment itself? You've got to be kidding?!
The business concept of charging individuals to provide content for your advertising venue is a example of a poorly conceived business model and one bound to fail, particularly so given that the value-added features of a premium membership are at best trivial and at worst a rip-off. I would consider a membership if features such as charts, quotes, portfolios, or hosting space to upload annotated charts was offered – at least offer something of measurable value. Simply adding features to “enhance” the chat room experience is a recipe for disaster and probably appeals only to internet chat addicts, individuals encountering difficulties connecting with other individuals in the actual world, the handicapped, mentally ill, perverted and obese.
Further, as a business operator, your reluctance to allow some controversy on individual threads is also rooted in poor logic as it is common knowledge that controversy (eg “bashers” versus longs) often is good publicity and attracts new eyeballs, like slowing down to peek at a car wreck, and new eyeballs are opportunities to transition into premium members and/or fodder for higher advertising rates.
I’m just positing some constructive criticism. Enjoy nuking this alias.
