Kim:.....Coming out of Dragon Silk and Monster Silk. What we saw before, in terms of commercial viability of the material what was in production at Notre Dame, we’re seeing now. And I think maybe better. Maybe I am going out on a limb.
Jon: Let me interject slightly.
Kim: Go ahead.
Jon: I've held my tongue. Um.. so to your question. One of the things that we instituted when I joined the company. Working at the Notre Dame Labs, was actually the idea of doing individual sample testing, across the board. Everything that goes through gets....
I’ll stand up....
....so, when I joined the company in 2015, I started going down to Notre Dame, working in their labs, I said okay guys, how are we screening out the best performers? They go, we look for the ones that look extra green. I go, great! Where have we verified that extra green means extra strong?
Kim: Let me stop. Green is a marker that we put in the silkworm.
Jon: Yeah. We’ll show you some over here. So the control system they were using was just color and it wasn’t linking to performance. I said, guys that's not good enough. We really need to link this back into actual measured strength of the materials. When we pulled the materials back into our labs, we re-instituted. In that same press release you said we talked about issues of genetic drift, also outlined all the things we put back into place now that we have total control. So everything to this day, and Employee 1 who is over here can talk a little bit later about some shareholders stuff. Employee 1 is in charge of overseeing our production operation in the back. These are supervised operations .....
Employee 1 personally has taken pictures of, I don’t know, 10, 20, 40, 80 thousand individual silkworms since joining the company. And every sample that goes forward that we are going to put in to our breeding lines, gets that treatment.
So Kim's not going to say, yes we have addressed this problem. But we have put in place really strong protocols and systems to make sure that only the best of the best get carried forward. I'll talk more about that latter. But, that one I had to speak up on.
