mind, . . . I don't know why this preoccupation with Cathedral City. That place probably still has front end loaders sitting in the dirt.

Many years ago --- 30 years ago, in fact --- I worked part-time for a guy who sold tropical plants in a mall. He knew nothing about the floral business, but was tired of being a trucker. So, he set up about a 10 x 12 wooden kiosk in the mall and made over a hundred grand profit the first year. I moved on from that job at minimum wage. Point being: I never knew why James didn't try something similar. Even frickin' Gates started in his garage, so why does Haas have to go high-society high end?
