there is no retail shorting in otc. anyone who says they are shorting otc stocks- ask them what their broker charges for the per-share borrow fee, cash up front (no margins allowed)- assuming said broker even has any shares to lend.

typical per share borrow fee is $2.30 - basically anyone trying to short otc's if they are able to actually do it- would get more satisfaction out of punching themselves in the face while setting fire to their cash.

MM's can "short" by selling from their own inventory (or even air shares)- but you typically won't see that on low volume equities like this.
