Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will drive for JTG / Daugherty in 2020 with a multi-year deal, according to NBC Sports. Stenhouse will be part of a two-car team alongside Ryan Preece in the No. 47.
The car number may change from 37, but Stenhouse essentially completes a driver swap with Chris Buescher heading to Roush/Fenway Racing to take over the No. 17. In all likelihood, the fantasy handicaps for both drivers will remain unchanged and the moves will be lateral. Stenhouse has earned three top-10s this season with a best of fifth on the Charlotte oval. Buescher has four top-10s with a best of sixth in that same race.
