The game has changed completely. Post-merger SES will have ~21m. shares on issue, 11mtpa coal production with ability to produce more and and a 2nd mine planned at Pentland that will produce 4.5mtpa.
This is not the same company as commented on in that article.
Then there is the potential for the gassification plant at Gladstone. I'm not going to keep writing about the gas shortage on the east coast of Australia. Google it. Here's one of many articles.
