You know, respectfully... I think there is some misunderstanding of how parent and subsidiary corporations work.

The creditors people keep mentioning are attached to Bioamber Sarnia, Inc. A wholly owned subsidiary of Bioamber Inc. which was sold to the JV of Visolis and LCY a year ago (in 3 days). Probably sold for debt + $4.34 million.

The lawsuit named defendants are Bioamber Inc, Jean-François Huc and one other person. This lawsuit has nothing to do with Bioamber Sarnia, Inc and/or its creditors. Sarnia creditors have no effect on Bioamber Inc and/or whether or not this lawsuit is settled.

This is a complicated shell game of corporations and it would benefit everyone to keep them all separated as you do your DD. They are:
Bioamber Inc
Bioamber Sarnia Inc
Bioamber Canada Inc
Bioamber Biosciences Inc
Visolis
LCY Chemical Corp
LCY Biosciences
and probably 10 others I've forgotten

The reason multiple corporations are formed is to protect each corporation from the actions of the others.
Enjoy your day.
