Why do you acknowledge that "There has been a push to release failed clinical trial data, since there can be scientific value to doing so" and then proceed to dismiss the poster's desire to see it by ascribing to them some nefarious motive?

"The company didn't release the data because there was no commercial value in doing so."
In the absence of the data you can't know that.

"They're saving time and money."
The data was compiled...it had to be to reach the conclusion that was reached. No money or time would need to be expended to make it public.

The trial that was undertaken was a follow up to a trial that was described by the Company as a "Successful Phase 2 Trial for Treating Psoriasis". The dosage was increased and tested for its efficacy on the same disease in a more severe form.
Everything the Company told investors and psoriasis sufferers follows:
"On December 14, 2018, the Company completed its review of preliminary topline results for its Phase 2b clinical trial of oral Prurisol in moderate-to-severe chronic plaque psoriasis. Data was received the previous week.
The investigational treatment Prurisol did not meet the primary endpoint in either treatment arm (300mg and 400mg) assessed as a measure of efficacy (active versus control) using the Psoriasis Area and Severity Index (PASI) scale—specifically, the proportion of subjects achieving at least a 75 percent reduction from baseline in PASI score (PASI75) at Week 12."

Perhaps your concern that people are "concerned that the company may be hiding something" is justified. Your assertion that "They're not" is conjecture on your part....boosted along by your own confirmation bias. But more importantly there may be something of substance to be gleaned from the data (other than whether the Company was hiding something) that has some scientific value, as you said. So why not? And those suffering from mild-to-moderate psoriasis may be wondering "What happened to us? We're not chopped liver, you know?".

Something could have been said other than there wasn't a 75 percent reduction from baseline in PASI score (PASI75) at Week 12....that's just the bottom line and little was learned from it. Just SOME of the data would have been helpful.

But can it core A apple?
Yes Ralph, of course it can core A apple.
