Straumann is prepping Zirconia tissue level implants research vs Titanium bone level implants placed with a fully digital workflow for a 2 piece pure ceramic dental implant. This now that Sintx just released a paper on Osteogenic Enhancement of ZTA with si3n4, surfaces at the same time with a specific mention of recent works in dental implants. I find the timing of it alarming. The paper highlights overall improvement of the osteogenic properties of ZTA w/application use, and specially mentioned 'teeth implants' that require contact with the human bone. At the same time we are expecting partnership news.....hmmm.
