I noticed that the news about the patent for the Polymorphic One Time Pad caught the attention of some encryption techies down under in Australia...

Phil Cuff, investor and multi-patented identity protection inventor, "This one-time pad based encryption patent is *potentially* a huge deal not only for encryption but for both law enforcement and privacy. Definitely needs detailed review though after reading quotes like "computationally infeasible to break". If it's a true one-time pad implementation it's either mathematically uncrackable or it's not, regardless of computing power, although the quote does say 'unbreakable' which, if intended to be broader than 'uncrackable' is rather meaningless in this context IMHO"
