Do you have any idea how royalties work in any form??

Remember you favorite comparison stock, OLED?? The royalties they receive are not on the end product, but on the screen portion. According to your fantasy model, OLED would receive a couple percent of every $1000 iPhone sold, when in reality they get a small percentage of the screen cost of around $50.
Look at it honestly and realistically. If your model was accurate, why would any company ever sign a licensing deal. Why would India pay $50 for our dots when they can get them down the road for $12?? There's no reward in it for them.
