I do tend to lock in profits - sometimes early. I look at percentages. A stock runs from 40 cents to $4.00 is a 10 bagger or 1000% gain. Why put that kind of profit at risk of a bad headline in a volatile stock? Take the money out and have dry powder for another great buying op.
