Canopy Growth divests AusCann stake

Aussie medical cannabis product developer AusCann Group Holdings (OTCPK:ACNNF) discloses that Canopy Growth (NYSE:CGC) has sold its entire 13.2% stake in a direct transaction. The majority, ~11.4%, was acquired by Western Australia-based Merchant Funds Management.

Canopy added to its position as late as June when it exercised ~7.7M options.


This feels like they're creating a leaner and meaner vision of the expansionist Canopy.
