I have lived in No Calif all my life I do not recall winds as bad as they are now. The climate is changing. We we're in a drought then 2 wet winters caused brush to overgrow. Then winds up to 80 mph and very low humidity are a perfect storm for wildfires. So Calif has the same problem.

This is the reason why I bought a generator so my wife wont freak out when I go to work and as I mentioned to he one time only that it could come in handy in case of an Earthquake.

I was almost on top of a 6.0 in Napa 1n 2014 which did damage to drywall and broke many items.
