The sector has been beaten down because of market uncertainty and the resulting volatility. Smart investors and large players won’t throw large sums of money into young emerging sectors when the overall market is being volatile. We need a rest and some sense of stability for people to feel comfortable investing their money into a young emerging sector. Until we get some sense of stability (no trade wars for example) I don’t foresee a rush of new investment into this sector, most will keep their money in safe havens. Just my opinion.
