Nothing I've discussed made us any money so, in the end, it was moot and, even worse, may have encouraged others. However, I'll still post if I see anything important. As I said, my Uncle still owns so I track news for him.

---I haven't seen anything on the SMET Army contract, but nothing may come until 2020 budget is done too.

---I've not seen any updates on Namibia either. There are 400+ towers that still need to be built and I'm shaking my head why POLA was not able to capture some of those. There haven't been any government updates on a 2nd or 3rd round of orders. They keep doing ceremonies for towers but I don't know if that is for new ones (i.e. POLA didn't get anything in the next round)or still round 1 (that POLA did like 10 towers for and finished last December). Namibia economy is not strong so this big project may get stretched out a long time.

---The are still making a recent effort for a Mechanical/CAD engineer, but they dropped the ad for Human Resource Manager so I figure they filled that.

---On their Linkedin page they just did the Africa Tower Meetup (the big show of the year there). The big thing in Africa is theft and vandalism at cell tower sites. Even Namibia is putting out announcements trying to get residents to protect their new cell towers that are being built so they don't get ruined. I'm not sure how a premium priced generator plays into that. Some solar panels would be cheaper though battery theft in South Africa is huge.

---Interesting article on Generac and their solar/residential play. Notice how they comment on dropping costs for the energy control system: https://cleantechnica.com/2019/10/04/generac-pivots-from-generators-into-residential-energy-storage-solar-at-spi2019/

---I think one positive with POLA is the order from US Tier 2. That still could be the wildcard that saves POLA and investors assuming they can at least maintain Tier 1 sales in 2020 and 2021.
