If it is the TDI jump on it... My wife has the Beetle with the same TDI Engine... It is relatively quiet, Very reliable, Reasonably peppy, And gets close to 50 mpg to boot...
If the Beetle were not such a girls car I wouldn't mind driving it (I still do sometimes)...
