There seems to be some confusion on terms here.

All stock movements are Buys and All stock movements are Sells. For every seller there is a buyer and for every buyer there is a seller. Don’t confuse buying and selling with "Bid" and "Ask" prices (OTC uses the term "Offer" in place of "Ask"). “Buys” are related to Asked/Offered prices and “Sales” are related to bid prices. A lot of buying into the Ask/Offer price could be considered a up turn for a stock, likewise a lot of buying on the Bid is considered a down turn for a stock.

When one refers to buys they are talking about buying on the "Ask/Offer" price which will usually increase the PPS if it continues, like wise; when refers to sales they are talking about buying on the "Bid" price which if continues will usually decrease the PPS.
