Six-Story Building, First Two Network Segments Linked

BATON ROUGE, La.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 30, 2003--Air-Q Wi-Fi Corporation (OTCBB: AQWF - News), a Wi-Fi (wireless fidelity) Internet access provider, announced today that it has opened for public use and company testing one of its Q-Spot(TM)-brand Wi-Fi hot spots that provides service at 5555 Hilton Drive in Baton Rouge. This Q-Spot provides Wi-Fi service throughout the building, including common areas, and is linked with Air-Q's first two network segments located in the Corporate Boulevard/College Drive area of Baton Rouge. Tenants and visitors to the Hilton Avenue property will be available to use Air-Q's high-speed wireless Internet service free of charge. After this promotional and test period, users will continue to be able to use Air-Q's Wi-Fi network at normal rates.
"'Lighting' the building where our office was a priority for us," said David Loflin, Air-Q's president. "We have now demonstrated the reliability of our Wi-Fi service in an atmosphere that often presents challenges to radio frequency transmission, as well as our ability to engineer and install a Q-Spot in a short time frame," added Mr. Loflin.

A Q-Spot, or hot spot, in Air-Q's Wi-Fi system is a transmission point that is connected directly to the Internet, either through a telephone line or cable television fiber, through which users' data travels. In Baton Rouge, Air-Q's Q-Spots will be tied directly to the Internet through the network of the local cable provider.
