In addition to the "logical stuff" I was very impressed with the CEO Jim Plant when I talked to him over the phone last night. Took several tries over two days to get through to him.
Had many questions and he answered them clearly and honestly although some things he clearly could not reveal, nor did I expect him to do that. He showed great confidence, energy and enthusiasm who clearly has a plan and is carrying it out.
Around 30 people in the company including two teams of nine engineers. They design the producgts, create the software, do final assembly and market of their products. They sub out the actual populating of their boards. Efficient operation.
The company has no debt and he has no intention of going in that direction. Sounds like they'll be able to finance their growth from earnings. Financials are finished for 2005 and 2006 (not sure what their year end is) and withing weeks of comppletion for 2004. Once completed they are qualified to move to the AMAX or NASDAZ.
Sounds like he's on the road a lot and will be away at meetings for the next two weeks. Our converstion ended abruptily after twenty minutes or so when one or more people had to see him.
As an engineer, I found that he knew what he was talking about and had a clear vision for the company.
