ARYC...Bought first subber in 1962 a Philippine Oil co rumored to do drilling on their lases with the help of Standard Oil, USA....went from .0002 to .05.....even sent two dividend checks for 5.00 US..lol Told my friends to sell but I didn't....0000 for me.lol Been in pinks ever since. 1999-2001 I turned 9k to 55k....sold only when they were 10-20 baggers. Greenspan(Fed.Chairman) killed the market then drove the RE market through the roof with low interest rates....and said he want the 'penny market' closed. Nice.I almost bought a new Jag for 55k but reminded myself that new cars are a bad investment....lol As the market fell and I kept averaging down, I was left with half my gains going in 2001,02,,03......ugly years for most subbers.I said it at least once a month sin the start of the new year that ...'Wake up'...'we have a winner here...and it's cheap...cheap...cheap.'
