When the US starts importing inflation and stops exporting deflation, you will see it. Profiting only in a devalued currency is the difference.
Buying commodities right now is the smart play. Look at the repo market. Central bankers couldn’t control liquidity, and allowed the rate to jump to 10%. Fed is adding more money to its balance sheet by about 150% faster than it did in QE3.
