Well dont think your nuts but if you can hit 23 of 25 and your losers are near each winner it's no big deal. When you get those couple big losers is what makes a guy think.

I'm near 70 have overall been doing this for 50 years. Now I'm more s/t involved, been doing this type of trading for about 22 years and can, most years hit 90-95% so I keep doing it. I'll hold a position for a day or 2 or up to a month. Some stuff I do hold longer just depending where we are in the big picture.

I like your hi yield/dividend game. I do the same mostly in the energy sector. I buy when things are in the dumper and hedge when they get near what looks like a top. Some stuff I've held for years but when we get a major ramp I will sell some. Typically I take funds raised from hedging and dividend payments and use them to buy more shares when things are in the crapper. It takes a little work but its also very rewarding.
