This is now the dozenth or so time I've seen "bad news" greeted with suspicion, contempt, downright hostility.

For some reason, most sheep fail to realize that it doesn't matter if bad news is true or not! What matters is WHAT WILL THE OTHER SHEEP DO.

Of course, the smart sheep will sell, because they understand that perception is 9/10 of reality. If it turns out to be false information, they can buy in again cheap.

But the rest of them will steadfastly refuse to believe the news, or they will send it over to the HSM message board/crime lab for conclusive proof of fraud, or simply call the messenger bad names until he slinks away in shame and/or disgust.

These are the same sheep who invariably are still posting months later, holding shares worth just a fraction of what they once were. The are still posting things like "it was all the basher's fault" or "that was a lie" - and they never realize, it just DOESN'T MATTER. The money is gone.

Amazing.

Good stocks are obvious. Extensive DD is how you convince yourself to buy a bad one.
