We’re up 8% because of a $400 purchase seconds before the bell on a day with half the average daily volume, which itself is anemic.

Being “up” has nothing to do with enthusiasm over this “news”. Genuine enthusiasm will be distinguished by a sharp increase in volume, not some chump-change BS close.
