Unfortunately that not how it works per FINRA. A company can’t pick and choose which shareholders receive a distribution and or dividend. It is paid to all shareholders. Best case scenario the ratio will be less beneficial for shareholders, worse case scenario is buzzy keeps refusing to provide T/A and FINRA with required documents and the spinoff never happens. CAVEAT EMPTOR!
