IDK. IEP's dividend always looks strong but come Income Tax time we get taxed in a way where investors of the LLP share the tax responsibility on IEP which is passed down via the IRS K-1 Forms. Using this method investors are paying on gains. We are Limited Partners. We have to file K-1 forms. Depending on your exposure to IRS Taxes in some cases it really cuts into that 'perceived' gain.

-The S/P always drops between quarters, IEP has RAISED their quarterly dividend from $1.75 to $2.00, these cheapies are a Bargain, once the next dividend payout draws near the S/P will climb back into the $70.00's like it always does. Just a matter of time-
