A formal PR, issued by the company, directly quoting the president of that company is a legally binding statement. Deliberately lying in such a PR would be fraud, subject to both criminal and civil penalties. Hmmm. Those are the same penalties for lying in an SEC filing.

Therefore, Mexus Gold US did produce and sold gold, just as stated in the September 13th press release.
