Unless the franchisee is stuck with the contract. But wants to make sure there is no easily identifiable association with the public company with 5 years of reputation and name brand recognition. Why would anyone not want that ? Especially when that’s what they paid for. And what kind of management would sign a franchise deal that allows the franchise to shed the name. It’s all very shady and since the company has made no mention of it in their update or in their recent filing. We can assume the worst? Why would that be? And who in their right mind would try and assert it’s a good thing for everyone? It boggles the mind.
