IMO SCOTUS would have to unseal those Docs to reach an unquestionable Judgement while hearing the case. However, the lower courts could do a better job if they saw the 11k sealed docs which might negate the need to hear the case in the SCOTUS. Having said that, it is possible for SCOTUS to order docs released and remand the case back to the lower court for furter proceedings or Summary Judgement the same way En Banc did with Collins. I seem to recall times in the past where SCOTUS has done so keeping their docket open for other cases. As Obit said, "There's still journey ahead". I speculate it could go either way.
