i don’t normally bash my own investments, but read the most recent PR, it has to be the absolute most ridiculous attempt to sell shares that I’ve seen in a while.

I think PR's like that aren't designed to pump the pps but to keep it from eroding. When a company is silent for a long time, shareholders lose interest and drift away and there is nothing to attract new investors. These PR's just keep the company in the news and reassure shareholders that they are still there until they have some real news to report. I'd rather see a bunch of PR's with little new news than long periods of silence. JMO
