Citigroup raises Ormat to "hold"

ORMAT TECHNOLOGIES INC. (ORA.N: Quote, Profile, Research)

--Citigroup said the geothermal power producer and technology manufacturer's most recent quarterly results suggest its growth outlook continues to be solid in spite of minor operating issues.

--The brokerage said the company's shares had traded with a modest downward trend since April and added that a potential reiteration of alternate energy needs in President Bush's State of the Union speech in January might provide a minor positive catalyst to the shares and alter recent lackluster momentum.
